Although there are only two of us on board, we wouldn’t be here without the knowledgeable support of our friends. Let us introduce a few of them as honorary crew members…
Szabolcs – the engineer
Peter’s cousin, a family member, and an indispensable cornerstone of the team. Szabolcs is the type of engineering genius we can always turn to – he always knows the answer, no matter what it's about. If he doesn’t have a task at the moment, he’s probably taking something apart just to put it back together, simply for the joy of it. During multi-day sailings, he sends us the wind forecast, for which we are always grateful. We can say it with confidence: if he is with us, there is always a solution.
Imi – the wise boatbuilder
He has been part of the sailing and boatbuilding world for more than thirty years, and his experience is a treasure for us. Imi helps ensure that the hull is not just a floating shape, but a transparent, structured unit. Besides that, he is an exceptional friend who is always there with an open heart and honest support. If he weren’t here, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Tamás – the master of machines
If something works on the boat, there's a good chance Tomi had a hand in it. He’s at home in every mechanical and technical matter: whether it’s heating, engines, or designing a solar panel system, Tomi helps with endless patience. He has already guided us through many difficult situations, always calmly and with a focus on solutions. In our struggles with the mechanics of things, he is our best chance at victory.
Balázs – the kindred spirit
Thanks to Balázs, we found the Malö-type boat, since he also owns a boat of this make. By sharing his experiences, he always stands by us helpfully. His cheerful, calm personality means a lot in everyday life – you can always have a good talk or a laugh with him. Besides sailing experience, he also knows a lot about fishing, and last but not least: he is on a similar journey as we are.
